Marie-Luce Schein teaches at TCU in Fort Worth.  A Native of Nîmes, France, she received her Maîtrise de Langue Étrangère  at the Université Paul Valéry, Montpellier III in Montpellier, France.  After moving to the US, she continued her education and has received a second M.A. in French from the University of Colorado at Boulder and the Ph.D. in English from the University of North Texas.  Marie is thrilled to join a great team of French educators and serve the North Texas chapter of AATF as 1st Vice President.  She is dedicated to promoting French in North Texas and making NTAATF an essential resource for area French teachers as well as a vital link to the French and Francophone community.
 

Vice President of Special Events - Francine Dupuis-Ho

Francine Dupuis-Ho  is currently serving as the  second vice- president of the North Texas chapter. She teaches French at Ereckson, Ford and Curtis middle Schools in Allen.  Francine  holds a B.SC. in Industrial  Relations. from Université de Montréal,  a M.Sc. in Human Resources from l’Ecole des  Hautes- Etudes Commerciales  de Montréal  and an M.A. in French literature – Modern Languages of the University of Texas at Arlington.  Francine is responsible for  coordinating  the French Business Symposium, the Fête Française and the Immersion Day.

Laurel Springer Mayo is a long time member of the North Texas chapter also having served a previous term as Treasurer.  She is the Activity Director/Learning Specialist for a Title III grant at Texas Wesleyan University and continues teaching French as an adjunct instructor at Drake University. UT Arlington is her alma mater where she completed both her B.A. and M.A. in French. She encourages chapter members to apply for summer scholarships through AATF having herself been the happy recipient of grants to study in Lyon and Paris.  The reason for her long affiliation with the North Texas Chapter is simply that the members are such a delightful group of dedicated professionals..
  Treasurer - Becky Lee

Becky Lee is serving as treasurer. She currently teaches at Marcus High School in Flower Mound. She holds a B.A. in French from Oberlin College and an M.A. in French from the University of North Texas where she was a teaching fellow mentored by Dr. Vidrine. Becky enjoys accompanying students to France which she has done through school and through the Children's International Summer Villages program. Her goals as Treasurer are to encourage colleagues to join the AATF, to participate in AATF events, and to facilitate these processes.
 

NFC Administrator - Becky Fields-Riley Richards

Becky is currently a full-time French teacher at Wylie East High School. This is her fifth year in Wylie ISD, where she has taught Communications Applications, English 2, and. French I-IV. In addition to her teaching career, Richards has fifteen years leadership experience in the IT industry as an independent consultant and contractor. Richards is currently pursuing a M.A. in French via the French Summer Institute at the University of North Texas. She and her husband Miguel live in Wylie with their three four-legged children. They are expecting their first two-legged daughter this fall.

  Webmaster - Gail Corder

Gail Corder teaches French and is Director of Educational Technology at Trinity Valley School in Fort Worth, where she has taught for 26 years. She holds a B.A. in French from UTA and an M.Ed. Educational Administration and Technology from TCU. Gail welcomes any suggestions for improving the web site and making it a helpful tool for French teachers.
