Technology Survey - Please take a moment to complete this national survey regarding technology use in teaching and learning French. The survey, developed by Lara Lomicka Anderson, Chair of the AATF Commission on Telematics and New Technologies, and Lawrence Williams, a member of the Commission, is posted on the TNT portion of the AATF Web site.

The results will allow the Commission to provide teachers with useful information about how technology is being used around the country, and to provide workshops or perhaps on-line tutorials that could be helpful for teachers.

Alliance Française Discount - The Alliance has also graciously offered to give a discount of 20% to teachers who wish to take any of their classes. For further information, see their website, www.afnorthtexas.org . Other resources there include non-natives' proficiency tests available for students and contemporary French films each month.

Mentorship for New Teachers - Many new teachers are the only French teacher on campus and could use friendly advice and encouragement. If you are interested in mentoring a new teacher or would like a mentor for yourself, please contact Pauline Sinnamon (Plano East Senior High) at Pauline.Sinnamon@pisd.edu for information about the new mentoring program she is setting up.
