The Greatest Roman Campaigns of the Republic

During the time of The Roman Republic Rome became one of the most powerful and expansive empires in the known world. The Roman Republic achieved it’s greatness through a combination of different things. One of the main things that contributed to the Roman Republic’s success was their willingness to use military force to subdue the enemies of Rome that stood in the way of Roman expansion. The Roman Republic fought a very large number of wars with all kinds of enemies. Two of the greatest campaigns were the Roman conflicts with Carthage and Macedonia. These two conflicts were major points in the Roman expansions to the South and East.
