During the Second Punic War King Philip V allied himself with Carthage. He saw the war as an opportunity for his own personal gain. He began various attacks against the Roman Empire. The actions of King Philip V during the Second Punic War lead to a series of wars being fought between Rome and Macedonia. King Philip V lead in the First Macedonian War and Second Macedionian Wars. His son Perseus lead in the Third Macedonian War, and the pretender to the throne Andriscus lead during the Fourth Macedonian War |
